Statement of Faith

Statement of Faith

  1. We believe that Jesus Christ, God’s only begotten Son, was sent through the power of the Holy Spirit to reconcile mankind to the Father through His human life, death on the cross, and resurrection. He is seated on the right hand of the Father God to be our High Priest, advocate and judge.
  2. We believe that every living soul should have the opportunity to learn of the Gospel and to make a knowledgeable commitment to Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
  3. We believe that the biblical Scriptures, God’s Word, provide complete instruction and guidance for living a holy life. We also believe that, just as Jesus used parables to illustrate His principles of living a God-pleasing life, present-day Christian fiction, biographies, and testimonials can present biblical concepts with readily understandable and compelling illustrations on which to base one’s life.
  4. We believe that no person is beyond redemption and that in every situation of life God is ready to open blind eyes, unplug deaf ears, soften hardened hearts, and bring His wayward children into a wholesome and holy relationship with Himself.
  5. We believe that those serving time in prisons and jails are precious to the Lord and He stands knocking at their doors, asking and waiting to be allowed into their lives.
  6. We believe that God has blessed the Prison Book Project with Bibles and books that are making eternal differences in the lives of many who have rebelled against the laws of society and are incarcerated as a result. They have time to read, think, and make decisions leading to meaningful lives where they are and whenever they may be released; therefore, we praise God for our calling and the support He has provided for this ministry—giving Him all the glory.

Our Mission

The Mission of Prison Book Project is to improve the communities of released inmates by educating them in Judeo Christian values by exposing them to literature with life changing principles through the distribution of books directly to prisons across the nation.

Our mission is to do our part in fulfilling the words of Jesus found in Matthew 25:36,40

“…I was in prison and you came to Me… Truly, I say to you, as you did it to the least of these My brethren, you did it to me.”
