In 2022, friends and supporters of Prison Book Project came together to help make something extraordinary possible: the purchase of a permanent home for the ministry.
Inside that building stands our Living Legacy Tree. Each leaf honors a donor or a loved one whose generosity helped make the purchase of the building possible. At the heart of the tree is Raymond E. Hall, whose legacy is woven into the story of Prison Book Project.
Our Living Legacy T-shirt was inspired by that very tree and by the words:
“A legacy isn’t what we leave behind. It’s what continues to grow.”
As we look toward 2027, we’re preparing for the next chapter. Prison Book Project will launch a capital campaign with the goal of paying off the remaining mortgage and securing the building for the future of the ministry.
Proceeds from every Living Legacy shirt will go toward that goal.
The tree represents those who helped us put down roots in 2022. Now we’re inviting a new generation of supporters to help those roots grow even stronger.

This commemorative T-shirt is offered as part of Prison Book Project’s Living Legacy capital campaign. Proceeds support our effort to pay off the remaining mortgage on our building. The listed price includes applicable sales tax. Because the fair market value of the T-shirt equals the amount paid, no portion of your payment is considered a tax-deductible charitable contribution.
